Product pages are where fashion purchases are won or lost. These are the ten changes we implement most consistently across client stores, ranked roughly by impact.

1. Size guide as a modal overlay on the product page. Not a separate page, not a PDF — a quick-open modal with a simple measurement-to-size table. This alone reduces sizing-related returns by 15–20% in our experience.

2. Multiple image angles including a flat lay, on-model front, on-model back, and detail/texture shot. Fashion shoppers make decisions based on texture and fit — they need enough visual information.

3. Model height and size displayed on the product page for every on-model image. 'Model is 5'9" wearing size S' removes a huge amount of uncertainty.

4. Social proof on the product page — not just a star rating but a review count and a brief quote from a review that addresses fit or quality. Reviews that mention sizing ('fits true to size', 'runs small') are especially valuable.

5. A sticky add-to-cart button that remains visible on mobile as the user scrolls through images and description. This reduces friction at the moment of decision.

6. Variant selection using swatches rather than dropdowns. Visual colour and material swatches perform better than dropdown menus for fashion products.

7. Return and exchange policy visible on the product page — not just in the footer. A clear '30-day free returns' badge near the add-to-cart button directly addresses purchase anxiety.

8. Related products that are actually related — same style or similar occasion, not just same collection. Manual curation or a well-configured recommendation app outperforms random 'you may also like' significantly.

9. Scarcity signal when stock is genuinely low. 'Only 3 left in this size' is honest and effective when true. Do not fake this — customers notice.

10. Page speed. A product page that loads in under 1.5 seconds on mobile performs materially better than one that takes 3+ seconds. Everything else on this list is secondary to a fast page.
